PORTABLE CHALLENGE

Portable Challenge Course

Our PTE Portable Challenge Course focuses on executive leadership and team development using a series of problem-solving initiatives and low ropes challenge elements. This course can be transported and delivered nearly anywhere, indoors or outside. On your campus. At our resorts. At a convention center. At the Georgia Dome. You decide.

Most of the challenge elements are low to the ground but may also include our state of the art climbing walls. PTE portable challenge courses focus on executive leadership development and team building. These programs are usually for a half day or full day depending on the size of the group and can be designed to accommodate all abilities.

JUST A FEW OF OUR PORTABLE CHALLENGE ELEMENTS

CLIMBING WALL
Teams climb three different routes on this 30 foot high realistic rock structure. Each route has a different level of difficulty from beginner to intermediate. While teams climb, trained instructors utilize a variety of additional activities to help them learn what it is they must sacrifice in order to truly become influential leaders.

MOVING BRIDGE
Teams must walk across 10-12 foot long sections of intersecting narrow beams attached to bases by chains allowing the beams to move slightly from side to side. Teams step from one moving bridge to another moving bridge at a higher level. Trained instructors utilize this system of moving bridges in a variety of ways in order to teach teams how to develop action plans, prioritize effectively, etc.

MILITARY CRAWL
Teams crawl under 10 foot long sections of low netting attached to a wooden framework in order to retrieve items at the other end and return them to their starting point. Trained instructors utilize these military crawls in a variety of ways in order to teach teams how humility is essential to becoming a good leader.

BICYCLE COURSE
Teams ride bicycles over ever-narrowing beams and through an obstacle course and must attempt to do so without ever touching the ground. Trained instructors utilize this course in a variety of ways in order to teach teams how to think “Past The Edge”, foresee problems through team planning, etc.

WALKING A
Teams must designate a team leader to stand inside the frame of a wooden “A” structure. Attached to the top of this “A” structure are several ropes coming out and down from various sides. Each team member holds the ropes to give the “A” structure balance and ensure that the “A” and the leader inside it does not fall or have to touch the ground. The entire team must walk the “A” several yards from a starting line to a finish line with the leader inside. Trained instructors utilize this activity in a variety of ways to teach consistency, proper communication, etc.
